Late departure from Detroit

We  finally left the terminal (for the second time) about an hour after our scheduled departure and flying time is expected to be about 4 hours. Estimated time of arrival is now 10:45pm (whatever day this is)

The man sitting in front of Gary was on his cell phone and when the flight attendant asked him to turn it off, he was slightly belligerent and did not comply – she went forward and the plane went back to the terminal. A BIG flight attendant came and escorted Mr. “I can talk on my cellphone if I want to” to the waiting law enforcement officers who took him off the plane.

Then we waited for another 15 minutes or so for some “minor” medical emergency. But we headed down the runway, and into the sky, at about 9:30 Detroit time.

The pilot announced that we have less headwinds than expected and plans to put us on the ground around 10:20pm.
